About

About

Welcome to Umbra! A top-down puzzle game in which you must stay in the shadows. If you step into the sun, you turn to stone.

Arlo will navigate six exciting lands, each with a unique culture. As she uncovers the ruins and mysteries of an ancient civilization, Arlo must face the long-dormant giants that threaten the world.

FLAG Games

Fight like a girl games

Just two people who love games and female protagonists!

Fight Like A Girl Games, FLAG Games for short, was founded and started by us, Sarah Byers and Dellen Miller. Two people with a dream to create a video game. After over a year of talk and planning, we finally settled on an idea we thought we could accomplish!

Thus came Umbra.

Umbra will be the first video game FLAG Games has ever produced!

We are a very small team of two; an artist and a programmer/game developer.

Sarah, also known as SamabyArt on Instagram, has been doing art since she was a little kid. She got her start doing water colors in elementary school. This blossomed a curiosity in the arts.

After years of creating fan art paintings using acrylics, she finally got her hands on a tablet and started making digital art.

Dellen has been playing games and writing novels since he was young. He studied English and Creative Writing and explored programming on the side.

Now, after years of wanting to write and build a game, he's programming Umbra using Unity.
